Azerbaijan`s Ambassador presents his credentials to Chairman of People's Republic of China

Azerbaijan`s newly-appointed Ambassador to China Akram Zeynalli has presented his credentials to Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

The Ambassador said Azerbaijan attaches particular importance to relationship with China, adding both countries are interested in developing bilateral bonds. The diplomat recalled that President Ilham Aliyev invited Chairman Xi Jinping to an official visit to Azerbaijan.

"One Belt One Road" Initiative Mr. Zeynalli said Azerbaijan is ready to make great contributions to the successful implementation of this initiative.

On wide opportunities for development of cooperation in economic field, the Ambassador invited the Chinese companies to be proactive in Azerbaijan.

On the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Mr. Zeynalli thanked for a fair position of China on settlement of the problem.

Chairman Xi Jinping recalled President Ilham Aliyev`s state visit to China, adding they adopted the several important decisions over the further development of bilateral bonds.

Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping thanked President Ilham Aliyev and the government of Azerbaijan for support of "One Belt One Road" Initiative.
